Local media reports border security training to take on caravan – while CNN says nothing to see here!

While the mainstream media is attempting to portray the migrant caravan forcing its way through Mexico as an “imaginary” threat to the US, border communities in South Texas are preparing for a possible invasion.
Local and federal law enforcement are reportedly teaming up to strengthen border security in Texas southmost regions, where the caravan has been predicted to arrive.
“Our cameras witnessed a group of law enforcement officials conducting training at Gateway International Bridge in Brownsville. The uniformed men were seen training in anti-riot techniques and carrying shields,” CBS affiliate ValleyCentral.com reported Tuesday from Brownsville.
Footage shows several law enforcement members outfitted in swat gear, helmets and riot shields carrying out formation exercises.
Customs and Border Protection agents are also carrying out training exercises at the Rio Grande Valley’s various ports of entry.
“CBP is undergoing some training at the bridges in the event something should occur. They need to be prepared and we’re ready to assist them in any event,” Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino Jr. told Valley Central.
Further north on the South Texas border, contractors welded a chain-link fence to a pedestrian bridge connecting Mexico to the US at the Progreso-Nuevo Progreso International Bridge in McAllen.
“The gate, which measures about 8 feet by 11 feet, appears to be one of several expected to be erected along the bridge — apparently in anticipation of a caravan of Central American immigrants making their way through Mexico and to the U.S.-Mexico border,” The Mcallen Monitor reported Wednesday.
(Interestingly, every person interviewed by The Monitor, including Hispanic Rio Grande Valley residents, were in favor of the barricades with some asking for more fencing. One Brownsville woman claimed illegal aliens stole her truck last week.)
The preparations along the border contrast with the corporate media’s representation of the caravan as an “imaginary” invention created by Republicans to sway midterm voters.
“[Republicans have] been running on an imaginary caravan, false charges against a black candidate in Florida, almost anything to try and juice up their base,” CNN commentator Errol Lou claimed on Wednesday.
Fox News’ Shep Smith also attempted to allay invasion fears on Monday, telling viewers, “There is no invasion. No one is coming to get you. There’s nothing to worry about.”
Meanwhile President Trump is deploying “more than 7,000” troops to the border and could increase that number to 15,000 in the foreseeable future as the caravan continues its march toward the US.

According to these stars we are “fighting” against Russian bots, voting to secure “a woman’s right to choose” (as long as they don’t choose life), and fighting against “our government keeping children in cages.”

Another group of Hollywood celebrities has come out with a get out the vote ad, this time driving a left-wing message attacking President Donald Trump for “keeping children in cages,” despite the fact that the same immigration policy was implemented during the Obama era.
The ad features actors such as Andy Ritcher of Conan O’Brien late-night show fame, The Big Bang Theory’s Simon Helberg and Melissa Rauch, Bradley Whitford from the series The West Wing, commercial actress Milana Vayntrub, and several others urging people to vote.
The ad is titled, “The Last Weekend,” and is aimed at getting Americans interested in voting.
The theme of the ad takes viewers through an action movie scenario called, “The Last Weekend,” but then segues into the fact that this really is the last weekend before Election Day. The stars then urge fans to volunteer for the partisan “Swing Left” campaign to get liberal voters to the polls by November 6.
Why should we vote? Well, according to these stars we are “fighting” against Russian bots, voting to secure “a woman’s right to choose” (as long as they don’t choose life), and fighting against “our government keeping children in cages.”
Of course, none of the stars mention that this policy of detaining children brought here illegally by foreign migrants is a policy that has been around since the late 1990s and that Barack Obama also kept “children in cages” as their status was cleared up.
In fact, one of the reasons children are separated from the adults that bring them into the country is because often these kids are being trafficked and used as shields by people who turn out not to be the kids’ parents. Indeed, during the Trump administration arrests for human trafficking have surged.
“Through late June 2018, human trafficking arrests for the year approached 6,000. That’s nearly double the year prior (which itself marked an all-time high), and triple the year before that,” Political Insider reported. “Human trafficking-related arrests never topped 2,000 under the Obama administration and were a paltry 300 in 2010.”

MSM claims Soros connection an anti-semitic ‘conspiracy theory’

After reports emerged that billionaire George Soros-backed NGOs organized the migrant caravans heading to the U.S. border, the mainstream media attempted to run interference on the bombshell revelation, claiming anyone who says Soros is involved is anti-semitic.
Despite government documents obtained by Judicial Watch and leaked documents from Soros’ Open Society Foundation laying out in plain language how these NGO groups organize migration groups and policy, the media brazenly dismissed the evidence, branding everybody who reported it conspiracy theorists and liars.
USA Today dedicated a lengthy piece to smearing anybody who suggested Soros involvement in the caravan, rather than provide evidence refuting the reports.
“Exactly how far the lie linking Soros to the migrant caravan has traveled is impossible to measure in full,” the publication said.
Social media “carried this falsehood to millions with a few taps on a screen. It also left a distinct trail that makes it possible to follow how lies spread and who told them, a map of their trajectory from the darker corners of the internet to the political mainstream.”
The Washington Post asserted that Soros orchestrating the migrant caravans was a “conspiracy theory” responsible for Cesar Sayoc mailing bombs to him, and for the synagogue shooter killing 11 Jews.
“The Soros-caravan conspiracy theory weaves together anti-Semitism, fear of immigrants and the specter of powerful foreign agents controlling major world events in pursuit of a hidden agenda,” Joel Achenbach wrote Sunday.
“And it appears to have had real-world consequences on Saturday for Jews attending services, including a baby-naming ceremony, in their synagogue in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood.”
The New York Times declared that questioning the Soros/caravan connection is rooted in anti-semitism.
“The baseless claims that George Soros is financing the migrants as they trek north, which carry a strong whiff of anti-Semitism, have been one of the most consistent themes of commentary on the caravan from the right,” Jeremy W. Peters wrote Monday.
NBC News also called the Soros connection a “conspiracy theory” without providing evidence to support their claim.
These mainstream media articles have two things in common:
First, they all parrot the same talking-point that questioning Soros is anti-semitic.
Second, they simply ignore the evidence and call it a “conspiracy theory” without making a factual case to refute it.
Again, here are the Judicial Watch documents outlining how Soros uses government resources to fuel his leftist political activity, including with groups like Pueblos Sin Fronteras.
And here is the actual 2016 leaked Open Society Foundation report, “Migration Governance and Enforcement Portfolio Review,” which illustrates how Soros NGOs coordinate with the UN to facilitate mass migration.

President Trump plans to sign an executive order that would remove the right to citizenship for babies of non-citizens and unauthorized immigrants born on U.S. soil, he said yesterday in an exclusive interview for “Axios on HBO,” a new four-part documentary news series debuting on HBO this Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT.
[…]Trump told “Axios on HBO” that he has run the idea of ending birthright citizenship by his counsel and plans to proceed with the highly controversial move, which certainly will face legal challenges.
“It was always told to me that you needed a constitutional amendment. Guess what? You don’t,” Trump said, declaring he can do it by executive order.
When told that’s very much in dispute, Trump replied: “You can definitely do it with an Act of Congress. But now they’re saying I can do it just with an executive order.”
“We’re the only country in the world where a person comes in and has a baby, and the baby is essentially a citizen of the United States … with all of those benefits,” Trump continued. “It’s ridiculous. It’s ridiculous. And it has to end.”
I’m just as giddy as this reporter!
It’s complete insanity and it’s a perfect issue to have the midterms be a referendum on!
Democrats think it’s just fine for an illegal alien to illegal cross the border and go to a US hospital to give birth (paid for by US taxpayers at a cost of anywhere from $32,093 for a vaginal birth to $51,125 for a C-section) then give the anchor baby full citizenship rights and get them straight on the taxpayer dole.
Republicans — under Trump — think it’s insane to spend billions of taxpayer dollars raising these anchor babies over the course of their lives (taxpayer funded births, food, clothing, housing, schooling etc.).
As NumbersUSA reported last month, birthright citizenship for illegal aliens costs US taxpayers $2.4 billion a year:

The report concludes that of all births in the U.S. likely paid for by taxpayers, $5.3 billion is spent each year on children born to illegal alien or immigrant parents.
Analyzing government data, CIS says that roughly 1 in every 5 child born in the United States has a foreign-born mother, accounting for 791,000 births each year. Of those, an estimated 290,000 children are born to illegal-alien parents each year. CIS estimates that 67% of illegal-alien parents are either uninsured or have access to Medicaid.
According to the Congressional Budget Office, there are 4.5 million childrenunder the age of 18 living in the United States who were born to illegal-alien parents. Once these children become adults, they can sponsor their illegal-alien parents for green cards through the immediate family green card category.
Force everyone to vote on it and make it clear where they stand!
We’re not doing anything like Old Linsdey’s “Gang of Eight” immigration reform (cursed be his name), but if New Lindsey (blessed be his name) puts out a clean bill to repeal birthright citizenship that’d be just wonderful!
