Another CNN personality who was presenting on the CNN Arabic network as recently as last week appears to have expressed a series of antisemitic sentiments on Twitter, even praising Hitler. This follows the recent resignation of a CNN editor, whose past antisemitic statements surfaced Thursday afternoon.

Kareem Farid heads up a digital tech show on CNN Arabic. He began in January 2019, according to his LinkedIn profile. He is also listed as the Lead of Storytelling and Video Production at APCO Worldwide.”

On Friday, tweets surfaced, showing Farid writing, “I love you Hitler” and commending the Nazi dictator for “his determination to reach his goal.”

Farid responded to some of the resurfaced tweets, claiming that he was merely “commenting on some parts of a biography book” he read about the Nazi dictator.

Screen Shot 2019-07-26 at 2.47.17 PM

“In the context in my language doesn’t mean I’m falling in love with him,” Farid claimed. “When you take it out of context of course you will understand it the way you want.”

“If you called Hitler a fascist two days before you proclaimed your love for him that tells me that you love fascists. Thanks for playing,” Schwartz responded.

Screen Shot 2019-07-26 at 2.49.27 PM

Farid continued to accuse Schwartz of taking the tweets out of context. One resurfaced tweet shows Farid telling an individual: “You’re the one making us hating [sic] the Jews.”

Farid responded, claiming that he was addressing someone who was “insulting Muslims.” He was “responding to him using his logic,” he asserted.

On Thursday, CNN accepted the resignation of photojournalist Mohammed Elshamy after a series of his previous antisemitic statements surfaced on Twitter Thursday. In one tweet, dated March 23, 2011, Elshamy wrote: “More than 4 jewish pigs killed in #Jerusalem today by the Palestinian bomb explode.”

As Breitbart News reported:

It remains to be seen if CNN will be honest with its audience about this matter and any internal investigations into it. CNN has a history of covering up resignations of people involved in scandals in its organization. In 2017, three senior CNN officials resigned amid a fake news story on the Russia probe–and CNN has still not answered a series of questions about the matter and has not published, as is the ethical standard for organizations purporting to publish news content, its findings of the internal investigation into the publication of that fake news.

It remains to be seen if CNN will address entertaining two individuals who hold such controversial views, however more clarification on the latest case did come later on Friday:

FREUDIAN SLIP: Reporter Refers to Brutal Beating of White Man as ‘Terrific Attack’

Reporter White Man Terrific Attack

A reporter referred to an attack on two men by over a dozen youths as a “terrific attack”.

By Tom Pappert

In what may represent a stunning display of horrific race relations in the mainstream media, an African American reporter for Fox 5 DC referred to an attack on a white man as a “terrific attack” on live television, and the news station uploaded the video to its website.

“A massive beat down caught on camera in the district,” said one Fox 5 reporter, before another added “More than a dozen teens carrying out the attack near a D.C. hotel, Fox 5’s Ike Ejiochi is on top of the story for us tonight, he’s live in Northwest with the details.”

The video then turns to a live feed of Ejiochi on the ground at the scene of the horrific attack.

“Jim, this was a terrific attack,” says Ejiochi. Big League Politics edited the clip for brevity, but Ejiochi did not correct himself, or use another adjective to describe the beating. Full video is available at Fox 5’s website.

According to Fox 5’s own reporting, it was a truly disgusting attack. Over 12 African American teens, who may be as young as 13 or 14, are scene punching, kicking, pushing, and spitting on two white men in video captured on local security cameras.

It is not currently known whether the attack was racially motivated.

Fox 5 D.C. reported:

Video of the incident captured by a surveillance camera shows the two men being surrounded while walking toward the doors of the hotel. One of the victims was able to get inside of the lobby while the other victim was punched and pushed to the ground after being swarmed by several of the attackers.

Police say the suspects could be as young as 13 or 14 years old. The man who is seen on the video being struck, kicked and even spit on was transported to a nearby hospital. He suffered injuries to the head and left eye socket.

The second victim suffered a swollen left eye and was also admitted to the hospital. He told police that before the attack began, one of the suspects screamed “That’s him,” and pointed to the man he was with.

The D.C. Police Department is currently seeking “the public’s assistance in identifying suspects in reference to an Aggravated Assault offense” related to the incident.

The police department posted a Tweet about the incident, and included a YouTube video of the horrific attack:

Big League Politics contacted Fox 5 D.C. to see if they intended to describe the terrible attack as “terrific” and did not receive an immediate response.

Kamala Harris: $75 Billion for Black Entrepreneurs, Colleges

WASHINGTON, DC - JANUARY 21: U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) speaks to reporters after announcing her candidacy for President of the United States, at Howard University, her alma mater, on January 21, 2019 in Washington, DC. Harris is the first African-American woman to announce a run for the White House …

By Joel B. Pollak

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) released a $75 billion plan Friday aimed specifically at helping African-Americans overcome the wealth gap. The plan includes $60 billion to historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and $12 billion to support black entrepreneurs.

The Root notes the details of the plan:

Harris’ latest plan to address the wealth gap calls for pumping $60 billion into HBCUs, like her alma mater Howard, and other “minority-serving institutions” or MSIs, to increase the number of black graduates in STEM [science, technology, engineering, and math] programs.

Under her plan, $10 billion would be allocated to a fund to help HBCUs build out their STEM facilities, while another $50 billion would be provided in a competitive fund to help HBCUs and MSIs do such things as provide students with scholarships, support post-doctoral fellows, build curriculum, and gird cutting-edge research programs.

Harris also said she will provide another $2.5 billion toward HBCU programs that train black teachers.

Harris’ plan also calls for helping African Americans start small businesses by creating a $12 billion “capital grant and technical support” program, with the funds distributed by the Commerce Department’s Minority Business Development Agency.

(Read the full article at The Root here.)

Harris is on record supporting a form of reparations for slavery. She told NPR earlier this year that the reparations could involve spending on mental health for African-Americans, adding: “What I mean by [reparations] is that we need to study the effects of generations of discrimination and institutional racism and determine what can be done, in terms of intervention, to correct course.”

President Donald Trump has also made support for HBCUs a central focus of his education policy, and a core part of his outreach to the black community.

RESURFACED INTERVIEW FEATURES ILHAN OMAR URGING AMERICANS TO BE “FEARFUL OF WHITE MEN”

Resurfaced Interview Features Ilhan Omar Urging Americans to be "Fearful of White Men"

“We should be profiling…white men.”

July 25, 2019

A 2018 interview Rep. Ilhan Omar gave to Al-Jazeera has resurfaced in which Omar says Americans should be “more fearful of white men” than potential Islamic terrorists.

Omar was asked if she thought conservatives were right to have a legitimate fear of Islam given the spate of Islamic terror attacks in America, including the 2017 truck attack in New York.

“I would say our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country, and so if fear was the driving force of policies to keep America safe, Americans safe inside of this country, we should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men,” Omar said in response.

The comments are receiving fresh attention due to Omar’s recent spat with President Trump and her repeated refusal to denounce Al-Qaeda and Islamic terrorism.

As we highlighted earlier this week, the Minnesota Congresswoman told an audience she is “disgusted” to be asked to condemn Al-Qaeda and female genital mutilation, arguing that merely posing the question alone is Islamophobic and a “waste of time.”

As Raheem Kassam pointed out, the fact that Mehdi Hasan is hosting in this clip is also of note given that Hasan has previously called non-Muslims “cattle” and “people of no intelligence.”

ERICA THOMAS HATE HOAX IMPLODES: WITNESS CLAIMS STATE REP. TOLD MAN “GO BACK WHERE YOU CAME FROM” — NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!

Erica Thomas Hate Hoax Implodes: Witness Claims State Rep. Told Man “Go Back Where You Came From” -- Not The Other Way Around!

Democrat state rep’s narrative crumbles as more witnesses come forward

By Adan Salazar

A witness at the Publix supermarket where State Rep. Erica Thomas (D-Ga.) claims she experienced racism says she heard Thomas use the words “Go back where you came from,” but did not hear those words stated by the man Thomas is accusing.

A brief re-cap: Last week, Georgia lawmaker Erica Thomas filmed a video after claiming she was involved in a racist supermarket dispute at the Publix 10-item-or-less checkout line where she was confronted by shopper Eric Sparkes. Thomas says Sparkes allegedly told her to “Go back where you came from,” but she later retracted that claim, saying he said something along those lines.

Now a witness working at the store has told the Cobb County police the exact opposite happened – that she instead heard Thomas telling Sparkes to “Go back where you came from!” according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“A Publix employee told a Cobb County officer that she witnessed part of the conversation and heard Thomas ‘continuously tell Eric Sparkes to “Go back where you came from!”’ but did not hear Sparkes utter those words to Thomas,” the Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday.

Sparkes admits he did indeed use profanity when confronting Thomas, calling her a “selfish little (expletive)” after she brought too many items into the express lane, but has denied telling her to “go back,” asserting he identifies as a Democrat also happens to be Hispanic.

In her initial video, which sparked the controversy, Thomas claimed she was confronted by a racist white man who used language similar to that used by President Trump in a recent tweet.

“This white man comes up to me and says, ‘You lazy son of (expletive). You need to go back where you came from,’” Thomas claimed, as she cried. “Sir, you don’t even know me. I’m not lazy. I’m nine months pregnant.”

Thomas later walked back those statements in an interview with local media: “He said, you know, ‘Go back,’ those types of words. I don’t wanna say he said, ‘Go back to your country,’ or ‘Go back to where you came from,’ but he was making those types of references.”

In the same interview she admitted she told Sparkes to “go back.”

Sparkes, who is of Cuban descent, has maintained Thomas was lying from the start and that he never told her to “Go back.”

“Her words stating on Twitter, and her video, stating I told her she needs to go back where she came from are untrue,” he said.

The incident has resurrected raw sentiments surrounding the Chicago hate hoax perpetrated by Empire actor Jussie Smollett, of whom Thomas was evidently a big fan.

GOOGLE ENGINEER WHISTLEBLOWER TELLS PROJECT VERITAS: TECH ‘DANGEROUS,’ ‘TAKING SIDES’

Google Engineer Whistleblower Tells Project Veritas: Tech 'Dangerous,' 'Taking Sides'

‘I really don’t buy the idea that big tech is politically neutral,’ he says

JULY 24, 2019

Senior Google engineer Greg Coppola has revealed to Project Veritas the political bias within Google’s culture, warning that it has compromised the integrity of its products and search engine.

“I’ve been coding since I was ten [years old.] I have a PhD, I have five years’ experience at Google and I just know how algorithms are. They don’t write themselves. We write them to do what we want them to do,” Coppola said.

“I think for a while we had tech that was politically neutral. Now we have tech that really, first of all is taking sides in a political contest, which I think, you know, anytime you have big corporate power merging with political parties can be dangerous. And I think more generally we have to just decide now that we kind of are seeing tech use its power to manipulate people. It’s a time to decide, you know, do we run the technology, does the technology run us?”

Coppola went on to say that Google started going political during the rise of Donald Trump in the 2016 election cycle.

“I started in 2014. 2014 was an amazing time to be at Google. We didn’t talk about politics. No one talked about politics. You know, it was just a chance to work with the best computer scientists in the world, the best facilities, the best computers and free food. I think as the election started to ramp up, the angle that the Democrats and the media took was that anyone who liked Donald Trump was a racist…And that got picked up everywhere. I mean, every tech company, everybody in New York, everybody in the field of computer science basically believed that. A small number of people do work on making sure that certain new sites are promoted. And in fact, I think it would only take a couple out of an organization of 100,000, you know, to make sure that the product is a certain way…”

TRANS ACTIVIST WHO DEMANDED WOMEN SHAVE MALE GENITALIA HANGS UP WHEN CHALLENGED DURING INTERVIEW

Trans Activist Who Demanded Women Shave Male Genitalia Hangs Up When Challenged During Interview

“Are those women not protected?”

JULY 23, 2019

The transgender activist who demanded female beauticians shave male genitalia hung up when challenged during a radio interview.

As we highlighted yesterday, Jessica Yaniv, who was born a man, has filed complaints with the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal against fifteen female aestheticians for their refusal to wax her male genitalia.

Having previously made predatory comments about women and girls in female changing rooms, Yaniv is also attempting to organize a topless swimming session for girls as young as 12 which parents will not be allowed to attend.

During an appearance on a radio show, Irish host Niall Boylan challenged Yaniv on why her rights as a trans person trumped those of women who do not wish to be exposed to or touch male genitalia.

Boylan made the point that Yaniv believing herself to be a woman despite being born a man was not a belief that other people should be forced to hold.

“I don’t believe in God, I’m an atheist, you believe in God, I respect the fact that you believe in God and I respect your point of view and I respect your faith in God, that doesn’t mean I have to believe in God,” said Boylan.

The host charged that Yaniv was demanding women perform a service (shaving male genitalia) that they don’t believe in.

“They don’t want to handle a man’s genitalia,” said Boylan.

Yaniv argued that he was part of a protected class, to which Boylan responded, “Are those women not protected who have a right to say no?”

“Those women should also be allowed to live their lives the way they wanna live their lives,” said Boylan, to which Yaniv responded, “But not when they discriminate against the rights of others.”

Boylan argued that it wasn’t discrimination to not supply a service that includes waxing male genitalia.

Yaniv then hung up and the conversation was ended.

“Just hung up on an offensive radio interview in Ireland,” Yaniv later tweeted. “Don’t tell me that I don’t have anything when you don’t know. Jesus.”

“You started arguing with me about things you know nothing about,” Yaniv added. “So let me put it to you this way…I’m female. Im a woman. Im not a man. Im as such entitled to EVERY service a female is entitled to and any such refusal is a violation of the BCHRC and CHRC.”

AOC: U.S. MUST HAVE ‘LIFELONG COMMITMENT’ TO MIGRANT CHILDREN—HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR LIFE

“I believe we have responsibility to provide mental healthcare services to those children for the rest of their lives.”

By Tony Lee

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said over the weekend that the United States government must have a “lifelong commitment” to illegal immigrant migrants separated from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border and provide “mental healthcare services” to them “for the rest of their lives.”

Speaking at a town hall event in Queens, New York, Ocasio-Cortez, who has referred to migrant detention centers as “concentration camps,” reportedly argued that the U.S. government must make a “lifelong commitment” to migrant children because “even if you separate a kid from their parents for two days, you have already created life-long lasting trauma.”

“I believe we have responsibility to provide mental healthcare services to those children for the rest of their lives,” Ocasio-Cortez said, according to a Guardian report. “And there are children who have been separated that we have reunified, and it took about a year to reunify some of these kids with their parents. Lifelong trauma for which we, the United States, are responsible… And it chills me to my core to think about 20 years from now, when these kids grow up, the story that they will have about America.”

Buttigieg: White Nationalism the Most Deadly Form of Terrorism in the United States

Screen Shot 2019-07-23 at 10.47.29 AM

By Charlie Spiering

Mayor Pete Buttigieg continues warning of the rising threat of white nationalism, telling voters in Iowa over the weekend he believed that it was the most deadly form of terrorism in the United States.

“White Nationalist violence has killed more people on American soil than any other source of terrorism,” he told voters in Shenandoah, Iowa, on Saturday. “We got to name that, confront that and say that is not us.”

The audience of Iowa Democrats applauded and cheered Buttigieg’s statement.

Buttigieg did not compare statistics between violent attacks from white nationalists in the United States and attacks conducted or inspired by radical Islamic terrorists such as the 2,977 Americans killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Pulse Nightclub shooting, the San Bernardino shooting, the Boston Marathon bombing, or the shooting at a military base in Fort Hood, Texas.

The South Bend mayor frequently warns about the existential threat posed by white nationalists as he continues his run for president.

“It could be the lurking issue that ends this country in the future if we don’t wrangle it down in our time,” he told ABC News on Saturday.

Buttigieg’s warnings about white nationalism frequently fit with his message of how Democrats will keep America more secure than Republicans.

In March, he accused President Donald Trump of failing to protect America from the threat of white nationalism in an interview with the Intercept.

“He is failing to protect us from the clear and present dangers that white nationalism poses,” Buttigieg said, arguing that Trump was “probably sympathetic” to their ideology.

He also indicated in an interview with Buzzfeed in March that Trump supporters were “complicit” in the rise of the threat posed by white nationalists.

“I think the moment you come on board with a project like the Trump campaign or the Trump-Pence administration, you are at best complicit in the process that has given cover for the flourishing and the resurgence of white nationalism in our midst,” he said.

During his speech in June outlining his foreign policy agenda, Buttigieg argued that “right-wing extremists” had killed more Americans than radical Islamic terrorists “in the past decade,” which excludes the horrific death toll of 9/11.

“We need to acknowledge this threat too and redirect appropriate resources to combat right-wing extremism and violent white nationalism,” he stated.

In July, Buttigieg said that the racial imbalance of the death penalty helped enforce white supremacy in the United States.

“You can see it in the simple fact that someone convicted of the same crime is more likely to face the death penalty if they are black,” he said. “Not to mention the very ugly history of the way that judicial and extra-judicial killings have been used to enforce white supremacy through American history.”

Trump was asked by reporters in March about whether he believed that white nationalism posed a greater threat to the world after the mosque shootings in New Zealand.

“I don’t really,” he replied. “I think it’s a small group of people that have very, very serious problems, I guess.”

Rep. Ilhan Omar Calls for Abortion ‘Access’ for Illegal Aliens

Screen Shot 2019-07-23 at 10.31.37 AM

By Dr. Susan Berry – 23 Jul 2019

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar tweeted Monday that illegal aliens must have “access” to abortion, which she equated with “medical care.”

The Democrat and “Squad” member was reacting to a Vox article claiming, “Immigrants are skipping reproductive health care because they’re afraid of being deported.”

“No one should fear receiving medical care because they are undocumented,” Omar posted. “We must ensure that all people in our country have access to reproductive health.”

Screen Shot 2019-07-23 at 10.35.22 AM

Breitbart News reported that all the Democrat 2020 hopefuls who participated in the second debate night in June said they support taxpayer-funded healthcare for all illegal aliens living in the United States.

Additionally, Omar’s Democrat colleague Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) said over the weekend that American taxpayers must maintain a “lifelong commitment” to illegal alien children by providing them with “mental healthcare services … for the rest of their lives.”

Since Democrats use the language of the abortion industry that claims “abortion is healthcare,” Omar’s call for illegal aliens to have abortion “access” – a euphemism as well for “taxpayer-funded” – is in keeping with their views and is already being shared in left-wing media.

Vox asserts “news of ICE raids and family separation are shaping people’s reproductive lives” in “the Trump era.”

“Immigration and reproductive rights are often treated as separate issues by the media and the public,” writer Anne North suggests. “But advocates say that for people living under threat of deportation in America today, there’s no separating the two.”

Planned Parenthood echoed the same view on Twitter.

Screen Shot 2019-07-23 at 10.38.47 AM

North reports that illegal alien Layidua Salazar underwent an abortion in 2013 in California while going through the deportation process.

“I describe my abortion as coming up for air,” she reportedly told Vox. “It allowed me to feel a sense of control over my future.”

Salazar, however, described her own situation as “unique” because she has been a “reproductive justice” activist and, according to Vox, “knew that a clinic in California would not look into her immigration status.”

She added that illegal aliens have “been in a state of constant fear and anxiety since 2008,” when Barack Obama was elected president.

“[W]e didn’t think it was going to get worse, but boy, it did,” Salazar said about the election of Donald Trump.
