The man was caught in an online sting operation and arrested by the FBI before he had a chance to carry out the attack in Southern California.
“It’s unclear how far the plot got, but sources said the man had specific targets, including one in Long Beach,” reports the LA Times.
The man also “tried to connect with other like-minded folks online,” one source said.
Officials are set to give a press conference at 1pm today to discuss the plot.
Authorities say it is not known whether the man’s conversion to Islam was “related to the plot”.

YouTuber “THAT’S THE POINT with Brandon” shared video of the attack which shows him approaching the group to ask why they’re wearing masks.
Antifa goons were seen laying hands on him immediately and eventually attacking him with sticks. Despite being outnumbered around ten to one, Brandon managed to fend them off and deliver solid blows against his attackers in self-defense.
Huntington Beach police said they arrested five people, according to the OC Register.

Though the media loves hyperventilating over rhetorical attacks on journalists, this physical attack on an independent journalist appears to have merited only one news article from the local news outlet the OC Register.
Independent journalist Ford Fischer of News2Share also shared video showing the aftermath of the attack with several antifa being arrested.
“Today antifa and other left-wing activists counter-demonstrated a ‘March Against Sanctuary State’ pro-Trump protest in Huntington Beach, CA. Three were arrested after a pro-Trump Youtuber was hit in the head, causing it to bleed. It is unclear whether all three participated in the attack.”
“While three were arrested, the injured Youtuber said only knows ‘for sure’ that one hit him, and says he ‘doesn’t know about the other on’ He thought only two were arrested.”

The synagogue was attacked Saturday morning. Breitbart News reported that the attacker arrived at approximately 11:20 am, opening fire shortly thereafter. Three persons were wounded and one was killed.
he attacker then fled the scene while a good guy with a gun ran behind him, shooting at, but missing, the suspect.
CNN reports that the Chabad in Poway attacker used an “AR-type assault weapon.”
Swalwell responded by tweeting:

Here is another way to look at this:
And in a gun-free zone, it does not matter what type of weapon the attacker uses because he is the only one with a gun. Therefore, he has time on his side. The Parkland attacker had time to pause and reload five times while the Sandy Hook attacker had over nine minutes without armed resistance.
Also missing from Swalwell’s list of shootings and types of weapons used is any acknowledgement that California already has an “assault weapons” ban.
Regardless of these things, Swalwell is full steam ahead on his push to do a mandated buyback of “assault weapons,” with jail-time as a consequence for those who do not comply.

Immediately the left blamed Trump on Twitter. One tweet read “Another real donald trump supporter” and then wrote “Stand corrected. But trumps rhetoric makes more of these people to be allowed to do things like this….this country is rotting from the inside…and trump is the result of that!”
To these naysayers, it wouldn’t be those representing their own anti-Israel rhetoric like Democrats Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib or anti-Semitic cartoons from the New York Times. The left can’t handle the blame, just like they can’t handle logic or sanity.
And just when you thought the handful of leftist media corporations controlling the narrative had done enough to deceive the public into looking the other way by wielding the frantic disinfo weapon of Islamophobia and the growing white nationalism fantasy. What should have every American actually concerned has been hidden from public view.
It may be too late until unsuspecting Americans completely realize that they have been systematically defined as a primary adversary by a malevolent propaganda behemoth. A media tyranny that regards white Christian Americans, which is actually just code for all Americans black, white, etc who simply disagree with the left as the enemy to everything the globalist construct is building.

Rubin, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for House Affairs, and former staffer for the far-left J Street group — which frequently opposes Israel — cited the Charlottesville “very fine people” hoax in blaming Trump.
I’m not saying Donald Trump is an antisemite, but what I am saying is that the rhetoric, for example, in Charlottesville, the “Jews will not replace us” rhetoric, the president’s response to that equivocated, and did not call it out for what it was, and he said these were “very fine people.” And that encouragement, and other language about immigrants, and language about people of difference, people of color, in many instances, that’s the problem.
Rubin went on to connect the president’s alleged “rhetoric” to attacks on Christians in Sri Lanka on Easter, and to Muslims in Christchurch, New Zealand, last month.
As Breitbart News and others have shown repeatedly, Trump did not refer to the neo-Nazis as “very fine people,” but specifically excluded them from that description, and said they should be “condemned totally.”
Far from not “call[ing] it out for what it was,” Trump also delivered a televised statementfrom the White House in which he declared: “Racism is evil — and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”
Even CNN has, belatedly, admitted Trump was not referring to white supremacists as “very fine people.”
Trump immediately condemned the synagogue shooting Saturday, and also applauded a Border Patrol agent who intervened. He later told a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Saturday night: “We forcefully condemn the evil of anti-Semitism and hate. It must be defeated.”
Reports of the shooter’s antisemitic manifesto suggest that far from taking “encouragement” from Trump, as Rubin suggested, he hated Trump, calling the president a “Zionist, Jew-loving, anti-White, traitorous cocksucker.”

On April 14, 2019, CNN’s Jake Tapper noted Swalwell’s plan to mandate buybacks of “assault weapons” and criminally prosecute those who do not comply. Tapper asked Swalwell if criminal prosecution means Americans who held on to their guns would go to jail. Swalwell responded, “They would.”
Swalwell added that gun owners would be given an “alternative” choice of placing keeping their guns at “a hunting club or a shooting range,” but either way, the guns would no longer be in their possession.
He has been clear that he plans to use a forced buyback to take “assault weapons” away from everyone who possesses them. In fact, it has been one of his most prominent campaign promises:

Despite these statements on sending non-compliant gun owners to jail and taking away whole categories of firearms, Swalwell claims he has no plans to “take guns from law-abiding gun owners.”
He tweeted:

Note that his attempt to dismiss concerns that he wants to “take guns from law-abiding gun owners” ends with the pledge to #BanandBuyBack. The plan to #BanandBuyback is the method used to take away guns in Australia and New Zealand.

Over 1,700 gang members, according to the Daily Mail, are inmates at the high-security Chalatenango prison, and are “taking classes in bakery, tailoring, carpentry, woodwork and even art and culture, in a bid to prepare for life after incarceration” through a rehabilitation program called “Yo Cambio” (I’m Changing).
“We’re people like everyone else: human beings. We’ve changed and we’re showing that those gang members deprived of liberty can contribute something positive to society,” said the program’s coordinator Alexis Castro, a 33-year-old MS-13 gang member serving a 10-year sentence.
Despite being accused of a range of crimes including murder, extortion, and child trafficking for a transnational gang whose motto is “Rape, control, kill,” Castro insists he and his fellow MS-13 comrades are “normal and ordinary people.”
“We’re labeled terrorists but we’ve never been terrorists at any point,” said Castro. “We say to Donald Trump, we’re not terrorists, we’re human, normal and ordinary people.”
Unfortunately for them, given they are in a socialist third world hellhole, “the classes are mostly theoretical as the inmates lack the necessary materials to take part in practical training,” the Mail reports.
Perhaps they should plead to California Governor Gavin Newsom instead, who made a visit to El Salvador in a pledge to help rebuild the country despite the fact his own state is suffering from economic turmoil.
