‘Absher’ app tracks & controls Saudi women

Apple and Google have drawn criticism from human rights groups around the world for hosting an app that allows Saudi Arabian men to track women and keep them from leaving the country. It also allows them to track the use of women’s passports and restrict their travel. Critics say the app facilitates human rights abuse and enforce gender apartheid. RT America’s Ashlee Banks reports.
